Set an an admin but can't 'view' the event?

This is a quick fix - You'll also need to register as an attendee!

It is likely that you are an admin for the event you are managing, but did not specifically create the event. You will need to register for the event using a ticket first. You can find your registration tickets under the Tickets tab in the event Console sidebar. 

Only admins who have created an event are automatically registered.
