Utilizing the chat bar during an event

The chat bar is an excellent place to meet and network with other attendees

General chat bar:

Providing that it's been enabled, events may have a chat bar which will follow you around an event. This chat bar is visible to all attendees with similar permissions. It can be used to ask general questions, make announcements and to introduce yourself to other event attendees.

Session chat bar:

For particular sessions, the chat bar is accessible on the right side of the session screen and is only visible to other attendees viewing the same session. These chat bars may have different tabs, located at the top of the chat bar panel. These tabs may include specific chat channels for questions, tech support or comments. This is an excellent way for attendees to participate in a session or ask speakers questions when appropriate.
