Need to create multiple events with the same structure? Use our duplicate feature to save time!
How to duplicate an event:
First, you will need to navigate to the event platform that you would like to duplicate. Once you have the proper event platform open, simply select General Settings located under Step 1 of the event Console side bar.
Next you will locate the Duplicate option in the upper right corner of the Details panel.
- This will open a new event general details panel similar to the one your filled out when first creating your previous event. Here you can update key aspects of your new event such as name, organization, star and end dates, appearance etc.
- Once you have entered your new event details, select create.
Next navigate back to your master console view by selecting master in the upper left of the screen under console and locate your newly duplicated event under your events tab.
Note: It may take a few minutes to finish duplicating your event. you will see a success notification in the upper right-hand corner of the screen once the duplication process is complete.
A note on what is duplicated and what is not:
Some event aspects are duplicated and carried over to your new event platform and some are not. Here is a list of some key event elements:
Platform elements that ARE duplicated:
- General settings
- Registration
- Admins
- Sessions
- Playlists
- Speakers
- Meetings (only meeting time slots)
- Sponsors
- Community gallery/forum (only default page settings and descriptions)
- Projects (only default page settings and descriptions)
- Integrations
Platform elements that are NOT duplicated:
- Attendees
- Meetings
- Chats
- Polls
- Notifications
- FAQs
- Home agenda
- Resource center
- Gamification
- Translations
- Microsite
