One of the most commonly reported issues with virtual events is that lost feeling of spontaneous networking with other event attendees. With HyHyve you can reclaim that lost feeling by including a virtual space within your platform for your attendees to meet and interact with one another in a more natural and organic way.

Start by creating a HyHyve space.

The folks over at HyHyve make it easy and quick to get your space up and running. Simply follow this link to start building out your HyHyve space!

Integrate your HyHyve space into your Canapii platform.

Once you have your HyHyve space all set, simply copy the URL of your space and head over to the integrations tab under step 3 of your event Console:

  1. Select the HyHyve icon at the bottom of the integrations page
  2. Add a name for your HyHyve space page (this will be the name of the page as seen from your event's top navigation menu)
  3. Paste in the URL of your HyHyve space in the URL field.
  4. Use the toggle to the bottom right to activate your HyHyve space on your platform.
  5. You can then head back to the general settings page under step 1 of your event Console and look under the menu section to see a new menu page option that matches the name your gave your HyHyve space during integration.
  6. Sort or rename this page for your attendees to see within your platform's top navigation bar.

When attendees first click on your HyHyve page within your platform, they will need to:

  • Request and accept browser permissions for microphone and camera access
  • Accept HyHyve privacy policy
  • Select their preferred camera and microphone devices
  • Enter their name

After completing these requirements they will be shown a quick introduction of how the space works:

  • How to move around the space
  • How to start a conversation
  • How to join an existing conversation
  • How to control their audio and video devices
