Organizers can control this by attendee type permissions found under the 'meetings' tab of the event Console sidebar!

If networking is enabled at your event all registered attendees will be able to arrange a meeting with each other.

Tip: you can enable or disable networking under the General settings section of your Console sidebar. If disabled, attendees will not be able to schedule meetings with each other.

The console allows you to place limitations on meeting permissions if required. This allows you to control who can meet with who. To define this process, go to the Meetings segment in the event Console sidebar:

  • Select Settings
  • Select Who can meet. Here you will see a list of all your attendee types. You can define the rules for each type here by ticking the appropriate boxes.

If an attendee is unable to meet with others, they will still see their name in the platform attendee list. However, the meeting icons underneath will not be present.

Note: you will not be able to restrict networking if you have no attendee types at your event. You can create attendee types under the Tickets tab in your Console sidebar.
