Session announcements

How to push out announcements during your live sessions.

As an event admin, you're able to push out session announcements & updates. To achieve this simply go into the session and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you'll find a Session Announcement tab. 

• Click into the tab and select Create session Announcement.  
• Begin creating the announcement by inputting the message. Now select the title of the live session and/or a live breakout (providing that there are any active breakouts) which you'd like the same message to be pushed through to. 
• If required, you can also target this message to attendees.
• Now select save or send later. 
• Now that the announcement has now been created, it should appear within your list of session announcements. 
• If you wish to update the announcement select update.
• If you're ready to push the announcement to a live audience, select publish. 

Upon selecting publish,  you'll see the status change from draft to sent.

If the status stays as 'draft' this means that the notification hasn't sent.
