How to push out announcements during your live sessions.
As an event admin, you're able to push out session announcements & updates. To achieve this simply go into the session and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you'll find a Session Announcement tab.- Click into the tab and select Create session Announcement.
- Begin creating the announcement by inputting the message. Now select the title of the live session and/or a live breakout (providing that there are any active breakouts) which you'd like the same message to be pushed through to.
- If required, you can also target this message to attendees.
- Now select save or send later.
- Now that the announcement has now been created, it should appear within your list of session announcements.
- If you wish to update the announcement select update.
- If you're ready to push the announcement to a live audience, select publish.
Upon selecting publish, you'll see the status change from draft to sent.
If the status stays as 'draft' this means that the notification hasn't sent.
The announcement will pop up in the left hand corner of the session screen:
