If you are an admin for an event hosted on Canapii, you will be required to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) using a cell phone number that is able to receive text messages (standard messaging rates apply) or a third-party authenticator app.

If you have set up MFA with SMS text message and are not receiving the verification codes within 2 minutes, please navigate to your Security page (option on the left hand side of your master Console) and ensure the following:

  • The appropriate country prefix number is selected for your phone number.
  • Your number is correct (no dashes, symbols or extra spaces)

If you would rather use an authenticator app, navigate to the same Security page, then disable SMS (if enabled) and click Configure in the Virtual MFA device section, then follow the prompts.

If you are not receiving verification codes in either SMS text or authenticator app, reach out to our Support team for further assistance.
