Direct answer: The registration experience on Canapii is built from the Registration section of the Event Console. Organisers create ticket types, set registration questions, configure confirmation emails, manage social sign-in options and control the layout of the registration page. All steps are managed from a single section without needing external tools.
Who this is for: Event organisers setting up attendee registration
Time to complete: 15–30 minutes
The Canapii registration system covers everything from the first registration page an attendee sees to the confirmation email they receive after signing up.
- Tickets: Tickets define the registration paths for your event. Create one or more tickets, set prices, capacity limits and descriptions. Each ticket generates a unique registration link. Tickets can be free or paid (via Stripe integration), and can be assigned to specific attendee types.
- Attendee types: Use attendee types to segment your audience and deliver personalised experiences. Tag each ticket with an attendee type so that registrants are automatically segmented when they sign up. Examples include VIP, speaker, standard delegate and sponsor.
- Registration questions: Use the Attributes tab to add standard or custom questions to the registration form. Custom attributes can be made specific to individual ticket types.
- Confirmation email: Customise the email sent to attendees after registration. Include a calendar file, event instructions or promotional content. You can change the sender name and email address to reflect your event branding.
- Registration page: Preview and edit the full registration flow including the header, footer, terms and conditions and confirmation screen.
- Closing registration: Toggle registration off at any time using the Registration enabled/disabled switch.

Can I create different registration forms for different ticket types on Canapii?
Yes. Custom registration questions can be applied to individual tickets, so different attendees see different questions based on the ticket they select.
How do I accept payments for event tickets on Canapii?
Canapii integrates with Stripe for paid ticket processing. Link your Stripe account from the Integrations tab in the Event Console to enable payment collection at registration.
Can I import a list of attendees rather than asking them to register?
Yes. Attendees can be imported in bulk via CSV from the Attendees section of the Event Console. This bypasses the standard registration flow.

Navigate to the Registration section and toggle the Registration enabled/disabled switch to disabled. Attendees will no longer be able to register using existing ticket links.
